With the rising temperatures, the occurrences of heat stroke are becoming more and more common. The problem is that heat stroke can escalate to many different problems related to your health.   1. Avoiding sunburn:

The 1st and foremost thing which you have to keep in mind is that whenever you are going outdoors, you have to avoid sunburn as far as possible. If at all, you are required to stay out in the sun for longer periods of time, you have to 1st and foremost use the sun protection cream with SPF 15 or higher. This would protect your skin against sunburn. Moreover, you have to use other modes to protect yourself as well. You can use eyeglasses as well as headgear. This would ensure that the effect of the heat is on the lower side. You also have to ensure that you are regularly applying sunscreen as well. Ideally, you should be applying sunscreen after every 3 to 4 hours when you’re out in the sun.

Another thing which you have to keep in mind when it comes to preventing the sun stroke is always to keep your body hydrated. If you’re out there in the sun, it is a better idea to keep a bottle or 2 of water as well as other fluids along with you. You have to continuously sip on them to ensure that you can avoid sunburn. This would also help you in maintaining proper body temperature as well.

  1. Avoid heavy physical activity:

Staying out in the sun and conducting any heavy physical activity would surely take a toll on your health. It would also shorten the time after which you suffer from sunstroke. That is why it is always a better idea to avoid any heavy physical activity. You need to understand that if at all, you have to be out there in the sun for a longer period, you have to be in the shade intermittently. When you’re in the shade intermittently, your body will get the period which is required to cool down. This would prevent sunstroke to a greater extent. You need to understand that you have to be in the shade for at least 5 to 7 minutes. This would help your body in cooling down to a normal temperature.
